《Xun Shi Ping Hua》was a textbook for ancient Korean people to learn Chinesein early Chaoxian Dynasty.Compared with the other textbooks in the same time,it’sspecial in writing style,it use Ping Hua,menns tell stories.It tells stories both inclassical Chinese and modern Chinese.It’s the value of the book.According to theanalyse of this book,we hope to get a general ideal of the vocabulary in MingDynasty.The thesis focuses on the modern Chinese in this book, this part is written incurrent language in Ming Dynasty, and it’s a refletion of the language inMing.Thethesie studies the words in synchronic study and diachronic.In the first part is toexplore the origin of the words and distinguish the words into different times.Thenrseach the usage of the words of this book in other books in the same time.The thirdpart compares the classical Chinese and the modern Chinese to find thedifference.After the comparing, we find the trend of the modern Chinese:multysyllable replaced the monosyllable,spoken words replaced the writtenwords,notional words change into form words.At the same time,we find somecharacteristics of this book, there are some uncommon usages in this book.This couldbe the influence of writer’s mother tongue,or the generalizationn of Chinesesemantic.At the end of this paper is about the characteristics of words and charactorsof this book as a Chinese text book.
