"Anxiety" is a common spirit sign of human, the ancients oncecalled it "worry", people now call it "anxiety"."Anxiety" is one of motifsin ShengKeyi’s novels, and exists in her creative ideas. Her narrativeabout anxiety can be divided into identity anxiety, existential anxiety,emotional anxiety are three different types, each with different causes andreferential meanings. The identity anxiety is often double,including thecountyman identity and status of women. They are often discriminatedagainst city and man. A lot of women images about the identity anxiety inher works, there are migrant and rural underclass women. Survivalanxiety also has two meanings, one is the existence anxiety of materialaspect, the other is the survival anxiety about metaphysical spiritual. Thefierce competition for survival produce the survival anxiety, ideal flawhave a spiritual survival anxiety. Emotional anxiety is mainly manifestedin the indifference of family Love and lack of love.They do not lack ofmoney and sexual desire in the sexual relationships,but the lack of truelove. It is hard to see the perfect and harmonious result between love andmarriage in her works.You can see mostly gray, fragmentized, lovelessmarriage. ShengKeyi use her special artistic vision to observe thespiritual world of the contemporary people and reveal the loss andconfusion of modern people’s heart after the ideal world collapsed.Itmanifests the hypocrisy of human nature and morbid false personality.The fundamental function of literature is to save the humanspirit.ShengKeyi finds it difficult to complete this task, but her works justlike a operation knife.It anatomizes contemporary social conditions.Andit can causes the attention of the society, perhaps brings hope oftreatment.
