In recent years, the foam in the oil drilling plays a more and more important role.Foam drilling fluid and foam flooding have been extensively studied. This papermainly studies the foam about salt resistant stability, temperature (high temperatureaging) resistant stability and oil resistant stability mechanism. Experiment found saltresistant foaming agent is necessary to foam system in high salt conditions, while thehigh temperature aging properties is important to circulating use of foam drilling fluidso choosing a good salt resistance and temperature resistance foaming agent is the keyof the study. Surfactant DM5512 as the main foaming agent is salt resistance andtemperature resistance . Its structure has some excellent groups,for example , -SO3H,double bond or alkenyl , poly silicon and oxygen structures.The grounp of - SO3H ischarge density and strong hydration, so cationic attack is not sensitive,with doublebond or alkenyl based on metal ion chelation, and its poly silicon and oxygenstructure has good high temperature stability. Beside , betaine and tea saponin offoaming auxiliary also have very good salt tolerance .They mix each other and makeup good salt tolerance and foaming ability foaming agent QP-1. Equally good foamstabilizer foam stability of the system is also another key factor. The commonly usedstabilizers were studied, including CMC, PAC, HPMC, PAM. Finally screeningcompound salt resistance temperature resistance stabilizer WD-1. Foam system ofhigh temperature aging ability in addition to selecting the foaming agent and stabilizerwith high temperature resistance molecular structure, also can be added into hightemperature resistant auxiliary agent that can improve the foam system hightemperature aging ability.There are some direct relations between foam system foam film resistance andinterfacial properties. Generally foam interface is unoil resistance nonpolar membrane.oil adding easily lead to bubble burst. Adding appropriate material to the foam system,the adsorbed on the interface membrane of the surfactant molecule interact each other,increasing interfacial film thickness, to change the interface properties of oilsolubleness, and form a layer of oil but the insoluble oil weakly polar membrane, so that the foam system has good oil resistance. This paper chooses the foaming agentand stabilizer that have good coordination effect, and formed foam film is oleopHylicbut not soluble oil properties. Foam system after adding 12% of kerosene case alsohas very good stability and foaming.In addition to foam systems own factors caused the decay, the interference ofexternal factors is also very heavy.Foam drilling fluid in oil drilling, often encounteresinterferences of high salinity, high temperature and drill cuttings.Evaluating of foamdrilling fluid external interference resistant ability is very important. This articlestudied salt resistance, temperature resistance, oil resistance properties of the foamsystem ,and eventually developed salt resistance, temperature resistance, oil resistanceof Micro Foam drilling fluid system. and evaluated the salt tolerance, hightemperature and aging resistance, oil resistance, resistance to drilling dustcontamination, and water dilution ability, finding that the optimization of foamsystem formula salt tolerant ability achieves 1×106mg.L-1, high temperature toleranceachieves 130℃, oil pollution achieves 12%.This foam system is adapt to drillingrequirements.
