According to the actual application of oil and gas fields, foaming agent research is mainly concentrated in the performance of temperature resistance, salt resistance and oil resistance. Sulige gas reservoir is a special reservoir with high temperature(100-115℃), high salinity(1-3×104mg/L) and 15% of the condensate oil content, which provide a requirement for that the foam agent must have the performance of temperature resistance, salt resistance and oil resistance during the process of foam drainage gas recovery. Currently, the foaming agent used in Sulige gas reservoir has high cost measures and low efficiency. Thus, this study experimental investigated the performance of thirteen different foaming agents, and developed a new foaming agent system to meet the on-site application.On the basis of analyses of domestic and foreign literature, this study firstly discussed the foam stability mechanism and the multi-component combination. This study continued by discussion about the evaluation of the synergistic effect mechanism, temperature resistance, salt resistance and oil resistance of thirteen different foaming agents by using the Ross-Miles method. As a result, the optimal concentration was determined. Finally, new foaming agents were developed on the basis of performance evaluation and coordination effect of surfactants. The foam properties and liquor-carting capacity of foam between new foaming agent and the scene foaming agent are compared by Ross-Miles method and liquid dynamic experiment. The results show that the foam ability and foam stability of the new foaming agents are better than the scene foaming agent. The field test of two gas-wells shows that the new foaming agent has good effect of drainage gas recovery production.
