With the development of society economy, our country requires much morequantity and much higher quality of steel products, especially the hot-rolledstrip, both it can be used as a sheet and in the plate, can also be used as rawmaterials of cold-rolled strip, pipe and cold-formed steel raw materials. Strip hotrolling process is actually the process of large deformation elastic-plasticthermo-mechanical coupled, along with material nonlinear, geometric nonlinear,and boundary nonlinear factors. The strip temperature distribution in the flowstress of the strip have a great impact, the temperature also affects the mill loaddistribution in the actual production, strip microstructure changes andperformance, the quality of the finished product (for example, the dimensionalaccuracy, the plate with shape and mechanical properties). At the same time thestress distribution of the strip have a great impact on the plate shape andmechanical properties, Uneven distribution of stress along the plate widthdirection will affect the flatness of the strip, also have an impact on the stripwide exhibition.therefore, in-depth study the distribution of temperature fieldand stress field of the strip and the influence of different process parameters onthem are necessary.According to the steel rolling mill equipment parameters, the3Dthermal-mechanical coupling model is established by using of the finite elementanalysis software ABAQUS, the model using the elastic-plastic unit, and thestrip roughing process is simulated by using the coupled thermo-mechanicalanalysis method. Through consulting relevant literature, the material under hightemperature stress strain relation, the adiabatic boundary conditions of the stripsymmetry surface, the strip heat transfer boundary condition of contact with thecooling water, the radiation and convection boundary conditions between thefree surface and the ambient air, the contact heat transfer boundary conditionsbetween strip and rolls, the plastic deformation heat boundary conditions andthe frictional heat boundary conditions between the strip and roll areaccurately installed. Finally, through the analysis of the simulation results of the model, we getthe distribution law of temperature field and stress field in the rolling area, andthe change rule of temperature field and stress field in the rolling process. At thesame time, on the basis of this model we change the process parameters(pressure ratio and the coefficient of friction and rolling speed), simulatingmultiple operating model, and analyzing the simulation results of multipleconditions, then get the relationship between the different process parametersand the distribution law of the temperature field and stress field in the rollingarea, and the relationship between the different process parameters and changerule of the temperature field and stress field in the process of rolling.
