The mine hoist is called “Mine throat”,it runs safety and reliability playsan important role in protecting the mineral exploration and the people’s life.Therefore, in order to improve the general low level status of the mine hoist,these paper studies on mine hoist reliability. And will also consider randomfactors and fuzzy factors in-depth research.This paper introduced fuzzy math and fuzzy reliability design method, thefuzzy reliability design method provides a theoretical basis for the mine hoist.Used the fuzzy reliability design which based on fuzzy criterion into the designof the main shaft of winding hoist, at the same time divided the main shaft intofour conditions and four different cross-section locations, and designed thediameter of the main shaft respectively. And used the diameter to design therigidity checking based on fuzzy reliability. Then designed the winding hoistdrum shell, divided it into hinged support form or the fixed form andsingle-layer or double winding, and designed them based on the fuzzy FOSMmethod respectively. The strength of the shell and wire rope static tensiontreated as fuzzy variables. Then designed the branched round drum elevatorbased on fuzzy reliability.Introduced the basic principles and build methods of the fault tree, andintroduced the fault tree theory into mine hoist. Built the fault tree of mine hoistdisc brake, used triangular fuzzy number to describe the probability of eventoccurrence. It can solve the problem which we could not get a large number ofreliable data,because of funding and experimental tissue.Divided the hoist discbrake failure into brake release failure and braking torque, processed the failureof brake disc into voting Relations, and accounted the human factors. Accordingto the analysis of the fuzzy fault tree, got the results that the hoist disc brakesMTBF is50.5days to52.2days. The main events lead to its failure sequentiallyis hydraulic oil pollution, electrical failure, hydraulic oil, oil pump failure.
