Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of the patients with spasm during the recovery stage of cerebral thrombosis by mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method and balanced muscular tension needing method. Provide the best therapy for the treatment of this disease.Methods:59Patients with Spasm during the Recovery Stage of Cerebral Thrombosis criteria sequentially by treatment for the1-59numbers, with random number table, which are randomly divided into two groups, including balanced muscular tension needing method group (A group) and mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method group (B group).A group has30cases,while B group has29cases. All the groups are continuously treatment with three courses. By observeing the varieties of the Modified Ashworth, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment, Modified BI index assessment and TCM syndrome integral evaluation before and after treatment, so we can evaluate the clinical curative efficacy of the pations with CI by mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method and balanced muscular tension needing method providing a standardized, effective and viable treatment options for the disease.Results:1.The two groups of patients’ Modified Ashworth and TCM syndrome integral evaluation scores are decreased, while the Modified BI index assessment and simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scores are increased after the treatment. The differences between before and after the treatment are statistically significant (P<0.01). It is indicating that both of the two different kinds of acupuncture methods can reduce the muscle tension, improve the clinical symptoms of patients and enhance the quality of life.2. After treatment, the differences of the modified Ashworth and simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scores between the two groups are significant(P<0.05).It shows that the balanced muscular tension needing method is more effective than the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method in improving the muscle spasticity of the patients.3. After treatment, there is no significant differences between the two groups of the Modified BI index assessment TCM syndrome integral evaluation and the clinical curative effect (P>0.05).It shows that the balanced muscular tension needing method is as effective as the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method in improving the patients’ daily life ability and clinical efficacy and reducing the TCM syndrome integral evaluatio of the patients.Conclusion:1. The balanced muscular tension needing method and the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method can reduce muscle tension, improve the clinical symptoms, the quality of the patients’ life and the clinical efficacy. 2. The balanced muscular tension needling method is more effective than the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method in reducing the muscle tension and improving the patients’ daily life ability.3. The balanced muscular tension needing method is as effective as the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method in improving the patients’ daily life ability and clinical efficacy and reducing the TCM syndrome integral evaluatio of the patients.4.Both of the balanced muscular tension needing method and the mind-refreshing and orifice-opening needling method could effectively promote the recure of the patients with spasm during the recovery stage of cerebral thrombosis with Qi deficiency and blood stasis. The clinical doctors can choose flexibly according to the specific situation of patients in treatment.
