Liver Heat Treatment For Hyperthyroidism Patients With Liver Depression, Fire Type Of Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of smoothing the liver-Qi and clearing heat therapy in treating Hyperthyroidism.Methods:76patients with Hyperthyroidism were randomly divided into treatmentgroup and control group. All patients were treated with basic treatment of diabets.Treatment group, while using the basic treatment plus TCM decoction ginseng-astragalus compound prescription in the principal of smoothing the liver-Qi and clearing heat, every150ml.3times a day for12weeks; control group with the basic treatment of diabets.The patients’symptoms, signs before and after treatment were observed. And comprehensive efficacies were evaluated.Results:The clinical studies show that:Treatment group, there were18cases markedly effective, effective in16cases, ineffective in2patients. The effective rate was50%, and total effective rate was94.5%.Control group,12cases markedly effective,18cases effective and6cases ineffective, markedly effective rate was33.3%, total effective rate was83.3%and difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Thyroid hormone and thyroid-associated antibodies to improve the role:the two groups after treatment FT3、FT4, were significantly decreased (P<0.01or P<0.05), and FT3、FT4decline was better than the control group, but Comparison between groups was not significant(P>0.05). The symptoms and signs of improvement:the treatment group improvements in avariety of symptoms and signs are better than the control group, comparison between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The method of Smoothing the liver-Qi and clearing heat, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms better than the control group alone; The treatment group may improve in patients with abnormal thyroid function, the thyroid function(FT3, FT4)decrease, TSH is rising. In this study, the treatment group have good security.
