Purpose:To study syndrome differentiation of newly diagnosed type2diabetespatients,and to evaluate islet β-cell function and insulin resistant of newlydiagnosed type2diabetes patients.Material and method:Statistic and analysis of symptom、etiology、syndromeand disease location of198patients with newly diagnosed type2diabetes.Meanwhile198patients with newly diagnosed type2diabetes wereclassified into three groups:IFH,IPH,and CH.HOMA-β were applied to evaluateislet β-cell function.IAI ere applied to evaluate insulin resistant.T teststatistical method was used.Results:1.Only13.64%of them went to the hospital for the typical symptom.2.There was percentage of Etiology which improper diet72.22%、overweight andobesity72.22%、emotion46.97%、comfort49.50%and defatigation5.05%respectively.3.There was150patients of spleen and stomach and87patients of liver.4. HOMA-β was decreased by the tendency of IPH→IFH→CH.ln IAI was decreasedby the tendency of IPH→IFH→CH.Conclusion:1.The percentage of the typical symptom was small.2. Etiology of Chinese Medicine mainly originates in improper diet、overweightand obesity, and was closely related to emotion.3. Xiaoke illness was focused on spleen and stomach, and was closely related toliver.4. Islet β-cell function was damaged significantly in CH group than in IFH andIPH group;and IAI was damaged significantly in CH group than in IFH and IPHgroup.
