Therefore, The treatment should coordinate the three organs’ relationship and prioritize and cure three organs simultaneously. Based on the theory and the new model of "syndrome differentiation from the liver-spleen-kidney on T2DM treatment", three prescriptions are prescribed by Pro. Gao. Glucose-lowering1:given priority to notifying kidney and calm the liver, accompanied by nourishing spleen, both qi and yin, and dispelling the heat and dampness, invigorating blood circulation; Glucose-lowering2:given priority to soothing the liver, accompanied by nourishing spleen and kidney, both qi and yin, and dispelling the heat and dampness, invigorating blood circulation; Glucose-lowering3:given priority to nourishing the spleen, accompanied by soothing the liver and nourishing kidney, both qi and yin, and dispelling the heat and dampness, invigorating blood circulation. In order to study the effectiveness of these three prescriptions about hypoglycemic mechanism, we performed the following experiments:1Fed with high fat diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) to build a rat model of type2diabetes, by measuring the blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood lipid, insulin and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) to observe the influence of the glucose-lowering1and2for treating experimental diabetic rats.
