Understanding The Original Things Pay Attention To The Logical Judgment - Understanding After The Flight Translation

The original text of the translation part is an excerpt from the book of Understanding Flight written by David F. Anderson. It introduces to the readers how the airplane flies, the components of the airplane, wing’s structure, stability and control and so on without using too many mathematical formulations. The book is presented in an agreeable manner so that readers are able to quickly understand the ideas and details in it. The reason why I chose this original text is that the objective of this book is to provide a clear description of basic aeronautical principles which could effectively intrigue the interests and passion of the young generation. It might benefit the development of the aviation industry and even the whole technology fields in China. The commentary part of this paper aims at analyzing the semantic and syntax within the EST(English for Science and Technology) translation and coming up with some translation techniques which could effectively enhance the accuracy and readability of the translation work.
