| What is love?When we ask the question, even the psychologists can not give the sure answer.As the unfailing topic of university campus, love deeply affects the life of college students, thusinfluences students’ happiness and growth. The strange phenomenon about love appeared innowdays let us think deeply about what’s the love attitude of contemporary college students.Psychologists explore the essence of love by means of researching the love type. Domesticdirect research on love attitude and love psychological is very lack. Li Zhao-xu has the mostresearch in exploring love attitude in China. Most researchers revise the foreign scale about loveattitude but not explore Localization research. The purposes of this study was to work out thelove attitude scale of Chinese student on the theoretical foundation of the localization researchabout love types, this was benefit for studying Chinese love psychology. It would be an effectiveinstrument.The latest research about love type by Li Jian-wei and Song Guang-wen is the theoreticalfoundation of this paper to work out the love attitude scale of Chinese students. The scalecontained9dimensions: affection, dedication, contradiction, ludus, sense, illusion, romantic,storge and passion. This scale has40projects and five levels to count scores.This study is divided into several steps:(1)Worked out love attitude scale-NO.1on thefoundation of the research by Li Jian-wei and Song Guang-wen with102projects.(2)Throughdata analysis and modification of projects, we worked out the love attitude scale of Chinesestudents with40projects.(3)Test the reliability and validity.(4)Study the loving psychologicalcharacteristics of Chinese students.Through this research,we found that:(1)The love attitude scale of Chinese students includes40projects and9dimensions: affection, dedication, contradiction, ludus, sense, illusion,romantic, storge and passion.(2) After data analysis, this scale has better reliability and validity,it can be a good instrument to study college students’ love psychology.(3) The dimension ofaffection, dedication, contradiction,sense, illusion, romantic and passion in the different sex hada significant difference, affection and passion in different grades had significant differences.Contradiction in different majors had a significant difference. Sense in different birthplace had asignificant difference. Affection, dedication and romantic had significant differences in the onlychild or non only child. Affection, contradiction, romantic and passion had significantdifferences in the students had or not had loving experience. |
