In view of existing research results,in this article, the juxtaposition of a number of critics who took“The writerand their works criticism” will provide us a macro point of view forclassification. And I analyze from four aspects to observe and study thecauses and the meaning of revelation in the history of literaturecriticism.1. The “writer criticism” includes analysis of the writers’ works, butalso involves researches in the author. It is different from work theoryand writer biographies. Because of the material conditions and critics’self-summary for needs of the new literature, this unique criticism stylecame into being, to some extent, it also benefited from the literaryconsumption prompting.2. When external and intrinsic conditions had been done. The writerand their works criticism reached its boom period in1930s, a largenumber of critics have taken this criticism style. But on the whole, it canbe divided into two categories; one was leader by Mao Dun and itbecame the main stream, around the main steam is the other one.3. These reflect the different values of “the writer and their workscriticism” in literary history: They changed the traditional perspective ofcriticism and the concept of literature conveying Tao (morality).
