| Feng Ziyou is a typical figure of overseas Chinese during the Revolution of1911. He joined the Revive China Society when he was14years old, followed Sun Yat-sen closely and went revolution. While he was studying in Tokyo, he participated in the founder of the Kai Zhi lu and the Guo Min Bao, involved in organising of the Independent Association of Guangdong, the242th Anniversary of China Subjugation, the Young Men’s Association, he also was one of the earliest members of the Tung-Meng Hui. During the period of taking charge of China Daily in Hong Kong, he strongly supported the armed uprising in the south of China. In1910, he went to the Americas, and raised a lot of money for the revolution.The thesis has three parts:the perface, text and conclusion. The text mainly research his activities in Japan, Hong Kong and the America according to the time order, on the basis of plenty of material. Through case study of Feng Ziyou, the author tries to enrich the understanding of overseas Chinese during the Revolution of1911, and comprehend the Revolution of1911from another flank. |
