Prison Police Professional Commitment And Study On The Relationship Between The Mbti Personality Types

Prison police is a special vocational group, which attracting more and more attention to them. Occupational commitment is both all individual’s work agreement and the devotion degree.Higher occupational commitment is of the importance to both the organizations and the individuals. Based on the previous studies of occupational commitment at home and abroad,228prison police of Jiang Su province have been selected to finish the corresponding questionnaires.Our aim is to discuss the structure dimension of occupational commitment for the prison police, the feature of occupational commitment and the relationship between the MBTIpersonality types and occupational commitment. The major findings of this study are as follows:(1) The occupational commitment of the college counselor is a four—dimensional structure, including affective commitment, ideals commitment, normativecommitment,cost commitment.(2) Through the statistical analysis, we found that the personality type of ESFJ、 ESTJ、ISTJ are main types among the police, the total is50.1%.(3) Significant differences of prison police’s occupational commitment were found on the four variables of gender,only situation,family residence and education level.(4) The E-based police on all the dimensions are the same with the I-based police. Except the affective commitment, The F-based police on all the other dimensions are different with the T-based police. Except the affective commitmen and normativeCommitment, the J-based police on all the other dimensions are different with the P-based police. Except the affective commitment、ideals commitment and normative Commitment, the S-based police on all the other dimensions are different with the N-based police.
