Converging technologies are not omnipotent and perfecttechnologies, and its uncertain consequences hide many risks. The natural environment risk is that artificial nature becomesa mechanical nature, the nature lost its original "natural" andthe earth mutate into a territory dominated by the High Homosapiens. The individual survival risk is that natural humanitypoint to technical humanity, human lack of the protection ofprivacy and the species will alternate. The Social existencerisk is that diversity gradually disappear, the current ethicsdisintegrate and the new social confrontation comes intoreality. The risk of converging technologies arises on fivecorresponding level. In the level of technology and science:the uncertainty of cognitive science set risk premise. Thecomplexity of convergence promotes risk generated. In the levelof technologies: The uncertainty of technologies raise risk.Convergence exclusion is the major source of risk. In the levelof technology and nature: Converging technologies beyond thenatural lead to the evolution of imbalances. The interactionbetween technology and nature stimulate ecological risk. In thelevel of technology and human: Filtering human throughtechnologies create unfair. The human psychology is not suitedto the rapid development of technology. In the level oftechnology and society: Diverse interest demands trigger risk.Converging technologies have a negative effect on socialethics. Risk-avoiding is the end-result. The principle ofavoidance includes respecting nature, people-oriented,focusing on prevention, ELSI research first. Concrete ideas areas follows: The first, building a widely ELSI first researchplatform. The second, establishing the risk assessment systemand risk prevention system. The third, Strengthening theparticipants to avoid responsibility.
