In recent years, the street children have become a social problem that can not be ignored along with the social changes and modernization advancement. Our government began to research on the street children since1990’s, and concerned with the main focus on rescuing street children about the wandering reasons, rescue and protection mode of research, policy and suggestion, and foreign research.Most of China’s assistance and protection on street children in the study are larger, more abstract ideas and principles, meanwhile the concrete feasibility are quite few. Some scholars recognized the particularity of the street children, but ignore most of them in adolescence with a special stage of adolescent personality characteristics. The actual social work practice involved in research is relatively few. Using some of the support of theory, this paper makes further research on the adolescent street children and focuses on social work practice intervention strategies and reflection. As a social worker should understand the adolescent children’s physiological and psychological changes, make full use of play therapy mode and advantage perspective model, case and group activities, improve their ability to adapt to the environment.The social worker is a group of professionals with high-quality training. They can use their professional skills to listen to the deep voice of street children, fully respect and accommodate them. Making them live in an healthy adolescent stage and avoid going out wandering. Only in this way, the rescue and protection of the street children can achieve greater effectiveness.
