The Social Work Intervention Study Of Meeting Urban Disabled People’s Mental Culture Need

By analysing the disabled community service and present situation of urban disabled people’s mental culture in our country, this thesis makes us know that the disabled people’s mental and cultural need and problem at present. According to Bradshaw’s type of need and the disabled people’s mental cultural need, this thesis puts forward four types of need about rehabilitation and security, communication and interaction, recognition and respect, selfactuation and development, and a integrated service form of making community rehabilitation as the core and giving priority to community work from meetting the need of the disabled. In order to create social work intervention form of meetting the mental and cultural need of the disabled,In the social work intervention form of meetting the urban disabled people’s mental and the cultural need, this thesis discusses roles and responsibilities of the government,community and social workers separately, and developing social work and community casework service. With the help of mutual complementation of the social work and community casework. this thesis proposed the laws and regulations about Improving the disabled people’s Income and mental culture, enhance the disabled people’s mental culture construction, pastoral care the disabled people and their families. So that we can make the disabled service work better. By the principle of making community rehabilitation as the core, form four Aspect about medical treatment occupation, education, society, we can provide rehabilitation services, at last make the disabled get Physical and mental rehabilitation and social reintegration by means of community rehabilitation. This model which make social work as amajor can make up for the deficiency of microcosmic assist and macroscopic policy,social work, develop and innovate social work and disabled service mode. while we build a whole Resource Support network, meet the disabled people’s mental cultural need, we can creat a Long-term, stable, good, continuous service form.
