Based On The Perspective Of Empowerment, Casework Is Involved In The Rehabilitation Of The Physically Disabled

People with disabilities are a vulnerable group in society and one of the important service targets of social work.As the largest part of the disabled,physical disabiled people suffer more than healthy people from many aspests,such as physiological and psychological.In particular,people with physical disabilities who have suffered amputation due to sudden accidents are prone to negative emotions in a short period of time,which makes their life,work and study in a state of crisis,thus affecting normal family and relatives.The Hubei Rehabilitation Aids Technology Center,where the internship is located,is a social welfare institution that provides prosthetic assembly and gait training for physically disabled people.Its rehabilitation services are mainly based on a single medical rehabilitation service.In addition to medical rehabilitation,modern rehabilitation services for the disabled also include psychological rehabilitation,vocational rehabilitation,and community rehabilitation.These rehabilitations require the participation of social work professionals.This article is guided by the empowerment theory,using questionnaires,in-depth interviews and participation observation methods to analyze the common needs of the disabled people who are undergoing rehabilitation training in the institution and the problems encountered during the rehabilitation process.As a research object,the case analyzes its difficulties in psychological relief,recovery of physical function,improvement of economic conditions,improvement of social communication ability,employment guidance,self-defense,etc.,using social work casework methods to intervene in rehabilitation service,and Professional evaluation of intervention process and effectiveness,suggesting that in the rehabilitation of disabled people,we should pay attention to the integration of social work concepts,optimize the structure of service personnel,improve the service system,mobilize community resources,and carry out follow-up services,etc.,in order to improve the rehabilitation of disabled people.The article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It introduces the research background,research purpose,research significance,literature review and related research methods and innovations.The second part introduces the status quo of rehabilitation service of the service center of the assistant center and its related problems.The third part introduces the necessity and feasibility of social workintervention rehabilitation services.The fourth part introduces the detailed process of case development.The fifth part is the reflection and suggestion of the research.
