Research On The Political Participation Of Vulnerable Groups In Our Society

Vulnerable groups is a common phenomenon in all countries all over the world. Compared with other countries, the social dimensions on vulnerable groups of our country is more strongly. In the community transformation process, the main reason that caused to its weak position in society is the polarization of interest groups and unfair distribution of income, not in itself. The weak state on these people that make them destitute in economic life and marginalized on political life trammel the development of society seriously. That how to solve these problems which relate the legitimate rights and interests of vulnerable groups, protect its democratic rights and political status, has became the concern of the Government and the hot topic of the academic research.If we want to change the weak position of this part group, we should not only give the help in financial condition, but also the equal rights and status that ensure their legal rights are not infringed in the political. The economically disadvantaged on the status of these people would be changed only while they break away from the weak position in the political. Therefore, researching on the political participation of vulnerable groups, exploring the current situation of political participation, analyzing the constraints of political participation, and formulating the countermeasure which used to improve and strengthen the political participation of vulnerable groups is imperative. Learning from the research results domestic and abroad, this article analyzes the existing constraints in the political participation of vulnerable groups from the economic, system and cultural aspects. And basis on this research, the article make some recommendations that could be used to improve the status on political participation of vulnerable groups.
