Analysis On Social Support Status And Impact Factors Of Immigrants In Danjiangkou Reservoir Area During Transitional Period

ObjectiveTo get the social support status of the immigrants in transitional period and analyze the related factors of social support of transitional immigrants, to study the relationship between social support and mental health, and to provide scientific basis for late immigrants better integrate into the new life.MethodsIn this research, the document study and on-site investigation were used. The questionnaire was drawn by and the388resettlement of residents. The questionnaire included Basic information questionnaire and social support rating scale. The data were analyzed statistically by SPSS13.0statistical analysis software.Results1. were higher in the resettlement of residents than those of immigrants in transitional period of Danjiangkou area. The immigrants in transitional period lower than the resettlement of residents in gender, education level, marital status, occupation and annual per capita income, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The social support status of the immigrants was worse than that of their counterparts.2. Through stratified analysis of the score of social support and the total score, the status of social support of the immigrant in transitional period in the high age, low education level and divorced/widowed group were worse than those of the control group. The lower the annual per capita income, the worse was of the immigrants. As they recently moved the resettlement, the immigrants could not do the religious beliefs, so the the status of social support was worse. The immigrants with poor level confidence in the future were worse. It revealed that influencing factors included age, education level, marital status, economic level and the next level of confidence, etc. ConclusionsThe subject analyzes the social support of the immigrants in transitional period with the methods of stratified analysis and factor analysis, which can provide the basis for the latter part of the research. Through the survey, we found that because of the change of relocation of the original production and lifestyle, the social support were lower in the immigrants in transitional period than those of the resettlement of residents. And it affects the stability of life. Therefore, it suggests the related departments should improve the mechanisms of social protection, strengthen the government’s policy support, be regarded by all of people, increase acceptance of capacity and strengthen psychological intervention measures to reduce the impact factors of the status of social support in immigrants.
