The development of the operating table tennis club put Yantai fitness industry into anew and tremendous vitality. However, during the process of development, it comes intobeing many issues, and they also face unprecedented challenges. It is of great significance tosolve the problem in the process of development and to put forward correspondingcountermeasures, thus to safeguard the healthy and stable development of table tennis club inYantai. In this thesis, through the methods of literature review, questionnaires, expertinterviews, etc, the author analyzes the status quo of the operation and the main problems,puts forward relevant suggestions for reference of the development of table tennis club inYantai.The conclusions are as follows:(1) The scale of the operating table tennis club in Yantaiis mainly in small and medium-sized; From the perspective of layout, it is more reasonable;From the perspective of mode of operation, membership-based clubs andnon-membership-based co-exist; From the perspective of operational efficiency, it is ingeneral.(2) The majority of the table tennis coaches are part-time-based in the operatingTable Tennis Club of Yantai; They are in the trend of getting younger and younger. The lackof higher education levels with high frequency in teaching, the lack of continuing educationtraining, and poor salary satisfaction are other problems faced.(3) The consumption patternsis mainly in the form of members in table tennis club in Yantai and consumption motives arevaried; consumer spending is more complicated because it is restricted by many factors.(4)the problem of table tennis club of Yantai includes: professional management personnel arefew; business philosophy is relatively backward; the comprehensive quality of coaches need to be further improved; consumer activity is rather arbitrary; the consumer awareness is notstrong.The countermeasures are as follows: the intensity of preferential policies should bepromoted to encourage the operating table tennis club market development; the industryregulator should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of adverse competition; themanagement of the operating table tennis club team building should be strengthened; thequality service of the table tennis club should be improved and services content should beenriched; the propaganda of the table tennis club should be enlarged; consumer awareness ofthe masses should be developed; chain operation model should be developed; economies ofscale should be improved and coaches team building and the overall quality of coaches shouldbe strengthened.
