A Research On The Current Situation And Proposals Of Graduate Student’s Career Planning

Along with the expansion of population of the Graduate Students, theemployment problem of Graduate Students is more and more obvious.And the relatedresearch about Graduate Students is not much, especially the research about therelation of the main body (Postgraduate Students) and the main factors(society andgovement) of the career planning of Graduate Students and how to realize thecoordinated development of the three. In this paper on the base of the past scholars theauthor tries solving the following questions: First,combining pedagogy, psychology,management knowledge, clearly presenting “relationship chart” about the relation ofthe relation of the main body (Graduate Students) and the main factors(society andgovement) of the career planning of Postgraduate Students; Second,presenting amethod used to let the three work well in the career planning of Graduate Students;And at last,with the present situation of the career planning, giving the proposalsabout the development of the career planning of Postgraduate Students.The results of this paper mainly include three parts:⑴Presenting the present situation of the career planning a of Graduate Studentsin Nanning City Guangxi Prov..①Compared with college students, Graduate Students have a lower careerdecision making self-efficacy.②In the level of career planning, Graduate Students of Grade three aresignificantly better than Grade one.③Different demographic variables on career planning are different: grades,work experience, whether the student has leaders experience, whether to accept career counseling on career planning are significant difference, the difference was notsignificant on gender, profession, family seat.④The effectiveness of Graduate Students career planning guidance done by thecolleges in Nanning city is not obvious. Mainly lack of content targeted to guide andthe content of guidance one-sided.⑤Lack of policy basis and financial support to carry out Graduate Studentscareer planning guidance.⑵Clearly presenting “relationship chart” about the relation of the relation of themain body (Graduate Students) and the main factors(society and govement) of thecareer planning of Graduate Students; and clearly presenting the key to let the threework well.There are two meanings about the relation of the three:①The benign development of graduate career planning needs the synergy of thecolleges, society and graduate. In specific terms: colleges and society should giveeffective support and guidance to graduate career planning and graduate studentsshould combine with the support of the colleges and society to guide careerexploration.②The effective guidance and support from the colleges and society shouldinclude two parts: the employment guidance on the eve of graduation and the effectivesupport and guide during graduate career exploration process. And, combined withthe characteristics of graduate students, the focus of support and guidance should be"process guidance".On the exploration of key of the coordinated development of the relations,the author believes that we must abide by a basic standard: based on the role,comprehensive analysis, the scientific decision-making. Moreover, the threecombined with their role should adhere to the following "Sixteen Principles" in thecoursing of getting the development andstrategic proposals: use the opportunities,overcome difficulties, amplify advantages and meet the shortfall.⑶Combined with the research of the past scholars and the current situationanalysis, the author believes that the three should improve in the following areas: Graduate students: need to further enhance the awareness of the initiative toexplore ways and means of making good use of existing universities and socialresources;Colleges and universities: need to enhance the initiative awareness tocommunicate with graduate students, identify the foothold of the work: enhancingguidance to graduate students and build a platform to help graduate students play astrong career planning capacity.Guangxi society: need to enhance the initiative awareness to communicate withgraduate students and colleges, identify the foothold of the work:government givespolicy and economic support to the guidance to graduate career planning from thecolleges, and actively plays a role in bringing universities and enterprises together, tobulid a platform for the graduate career planning development together; enterprisesshould enhance the sense of social responsibility and use a holistic view to understandthe relation between the exploration of graduate career planning and the developmentof enterprises, and enhance awareness of the initiative, positivly communicate withthe colleges and universities, to explore ways of buliding to build a support platformfor graduate career exploration.On this basis, and the author gives the specific proposals.The research methods mainly include: Questionnaire investigation method; Theliterature analysis method; Inductive constructed as well as Interviews method, etc.
