Research On Graduate Career Planning Of Universities In Guangxi

According to the theory of career planning,this research suggests that most graduate students are at the career exploration stage,and they should establish a target to make sure they can explore and choice the occupation in an effective way.A total of 343 graduate students from Guangxi university were selected as the study subjects,and 17 graduate students from different majors were interviewed to explore the details of career planning in graduate students.After investigating,it's found that there are many characteristics in common from the graduate students in Guangxi university:Unclearing the career orientation;Lacking of specific action objectives as well as career exploration;Paying much attention to accumulating human capital;The tendency of career planning adjustment is not obvious.In terms of career choice,the discrimination of career choice from graduate students is not obvious,and the professional ideology is individualistic.And they also lack of willingness to seek help from career counselling from universities when they are confuse of making career decisions.In a word,to promote the graduate students career planning,it need the help from various aspects:graduate student should strengthen planning initiative,set career goals,to make good use of human capital,strengthen professional exploration,etc.;For the university,firstly,it should comprehend the implication of education;secondly,stretch the career education system to make sure the graduates could have the option to learn;finally,highlight the mentor of career education.The role of government is extremely important,it should strengthen the information dissemination of employment across provinces and regions;facilitate the qualification certification of vocational counseling institutions.And the family should support the graduate students to make their choice independently;and it is indispensable to establish a reasonable career reference.
