Teachers’job satisfaction is their attitudes and emotional reaction, according to their standard evaluation system. Teachers’job satisfaction directly affects their work enthusiasm. This article is about the Yunnan province Xuanwei city urban and rural secondary school teachers job satisfaction of comparative research, aims to compare, find out the city and Township Middle School Teachers’management of the problems, to help raise the Xuanwei middle school human resources management efficiency.First of all, this study does a comprehensive and systematic review about teachers’ job satisfaction theory knowledge. And then on the basis of many scholars’research results, this study designs a teachers’job satisfaction survey questionnaire for Xuanwei secondary school through deeply studying. This teachers’job satisfaction survey questionnaire includes seven dimensions, students coordination, leadership and management, working condition, peer relationships, social and self identity, work pressure and work income. Using this survey questionnaire200urban and rural middle school teachers in Xuanwei were surveyed randomly. And analyzes the survey results using descriptive statistics, comparison of means, the single factor variance analysis and other statistical methods, finally draws the corresponding conclusion.Study shows, the Xuanwei urban middle school teachers’job satisfaction is significantly higher than that of the rural middle school teachers; The urban teachers’ seven dimension satisfactions including students coordination, leadership and management, working conditions, peer relationships, social and self identity, work pressure and work income are also higher than those in the rural middle school teachers; The Xuanwei urban middle school teachers’satisfaction in the work stress dimension exist significant difference whether they serves as class teacher or haves educational differences. There exists obvious difference of age in work income dimension, and exists obvious difference of education in social and self identity dimension; The Xuanwei rural middle school teachers’satisfaction in the working condition dimension exist significant difference of teaching time. There also exists obvious difference in work pressure dimension for whether the teacher serves as class teacher, and exist obvious difference of age in work income dimension.
