| Along with change in Chinese society and constant development of sports business, China gradually sets up sports ideological system with Chinese features. Chinese competitive basketball develops constantly under the guidance of this sports ideology, which witnesses the evolution of Chinese sports ideology and achieves motive power for development under the evolution of the ideology. Through literature method, expert interview method, mathematical statistics method, and logic method, by regarding the sports ideology of new China as the clue, the basic process of competitive basketball development in China was analyzed to find common features of competitive basketball development in China. Meanwhile, basic conception of competitive basket sports in future China was put forwards on this basis. The following five conclusions were proposed through analysis on development process of Chinese competitive basketball.(1) Seen from the whole development process of Chinese competitive basketball, the sports ideology has positive and negative influences while may be motive power or resistance. This is the experience summarized based on the whole development process of Chinese competitive basketball, which is the mean feature in the development process of Chinese competitive basketball.(2) Women’s basketball has obviously better performance than men’s basketball in China. The fluctuation modes of performance are basically the same, reflecting the basic feature of rising and falling at the same time. The change in performance of women’s basketball and men’s basketball is great. The frequencies of performance fluctuation in men’s basketball and women’s basketball are nearly the same. Before2000, the fluctuation frequency was relatively slow, and became significantly quicker after2000.(3) The integration effect between the development of Chinese competitive basketball and social resources is not obvious, which is the feature in the long-term development of Chinese competitive basketball. The management form integrating administration and implementation in sports administrative management department leads to closed basketball system in China and relatively weak openness in social resources.(4) Single training and cultivation system of Chinese basketball athletes is another feature in the development of Chinese competitive basketball. In the whole cultivation path, large resource consumption, high athlete mortality, low scientific level, and narrow talent flow patch influence the development of reserve talent in Chinese competitive basketball filed. As a product under planned economy, the system cannot meet the training requirement of athlete under the development of socialist market economy.(5) There is certain contradiction between various basketball competitions and team development, which is the basic feature in current Chinese competitive basketball. The strategy of national sports meeting has certain conflict with the strategy of Olympics. Meanwhile, the occupational basketball league matches in China do not match objectives of other basketball competitions, leading to gradually increasing contradictions and conflicts among various beneficial teams.According to the features of Chinese competitive basketball development and reality of current Chinese society and sports business development, four suggestions were put forwards:(1) basic experience in Chinese competitive basketball development process shall be summarized carefully;(2) development conception for competitive basketball shall be put forwards based on the combination of actual society and sports development.(3) A competitive basketball development system shall be constructed based on the premise of equity.(4) The long-term planning for Chinese competitive basketball development shall be formulated. |
