Knowledge of Chinese language is a very important part inlanguage courses. Most countries in the world attach great importanceto the teaching of language knowledge. Chinese textbook is the maincarrier of Chinese language knowledge. Therefore, it’s necessary tostudy language knowledge in Chinese textbooks.With research methods such as statistics, comparison andanalysis, this paper attempts to study the knowledge of Chineselanguage in Chinese textbook for junior middle school students inShanghai. The study involves content, form and practice which arerelated to knowledge of Chinese language in Chinese textbook. Also,some suggestions will be put forward. I hope the paper benefit all thosewho are concerned about this problem.The paper is mainly composed of the following parts:The first part (Introduction): The introduction to the origin,significance, innovation and objectives of the study; The definition ofthe concept and a brief description of the research object andmethods; An overview of the development of Chinese languageknowledge in a century.The second part (the first chapter): A tabulated form of theknowledge of Chinese language in Chinese textbook.The third part (the second chapter): An objective evaluation of theproblems reflected in the analysis of the Chinese language knowledgefrom the aspects of content, form and practice. The fourth part (the third chapter): Give some suggestions on futureacademic studies related to this paper.The fifth part (the conclusion): To summarize the conclusionsreached above.
