Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of China’s economy and acceleration of the urban construction, a large number of migrant workers swarm into the city, making significant contribution to economy development. Meanwhile, numerous new social phenomenon appear:Issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area, the left-behind elderly, the left-behind women, the left-behind children, etc.Due to China’s economic transition-urban-rural economic dualism, many parents go out to be workers. Limited by economic conditions, urban and rural system and residence registration restrictions, the left-behind children have to be left at their registered hometowns and looked after by one parent or their relatives. The absence of one parent or parents lead to lack of family education, and a part of left-behind children have problems such as feeling loneliness and anxious, getting relatively poor school performance, utilitarian in thought and quality, self-centered, etc.. The phenomenon attracts widespread attention from various circles of the society, and relative measures have been taken to help these children. A series of care actions has been taken, for instance, government organizes people to survey and promotes boarding school, allocates funds for the left-behind children, enacts laws, strengthens protection for the left-behind children and holds care activities; school establishes parents school, family phone and holds parent-child activities; enterprises increase their donation; university students become agent parents and tutor homework for the left-behind children.The concern of Left-behind children is mainly fixed on Sichuan, Anhui and other provinces where most left-behind children gather, while the attention to other regions has not been paid enough. The research of left-behind children are now focused on the stage of compulsory education instead of the stage of high school in which students are the most sensitive and their mood swings a lot and their personalities are forming. The researchers have not formed a unified understanding of left-behind children and even some ideas are contradictive. Besides, there has not been some representative work or feasible measures that are suitable for left-behind children nationwide. Therefore, the research of left-behind children is in the initial stage of surface and needs the common efforts of all society.The author, a Chinese teacher in senior high school, talks carefully with the left-behind children from his experience. Through investigations, in light of local condition of senior school left-behind children in Wanrong County and the care treasures adopted by government, school, family and society, the author make analysis from the field of psychology, emotion, study and communication, combining the cases of left-behind children. On the issue of left-behind children, the author proposes from the way of government, family, school and society in order to provide some bases for solving the problems of left-behind children, promoting the better solution for left-behind children problems and the construction of harmonious socialist society.
