Occupational gender segregation is a common phenomenon nowadays, which affects the genders’relationship significantly. There are quite a lot of researches on occupational gender segregation, which proposed effective measures to eliminate the professional segregation. The researches mainly researched this issue on the macro level, instead of targeting on a specific career to analyze the gender segregation. It is not normal to do a research that associates the preschool teachers with professional gender segregation.As an important part and the start of the basic education, preschool education is playing an irreplaceable role in our country’s basic education and lifelong education system. The author found that the preschool teacher’s salary is not optimistic, but the working pressure increases day by day. And the gender segregation is serious in this career. In our country, the preschool teachers are mainly made up by female. The male preschool teacher is less than2%, and is mostly in the developed cities. The difference from female is the male segregate itself actively, but not be segregated. This paper is focus on studying how unfair the occupational gender segregation in early childhood education to women, and how to eliminate this gender segregation and inequality.Through the research, it found in the influence of gender segregation, the unequal in the career of preschool education getting severe. It mainly presents from obtain employment, promotion, income, social identity and family status inequality. The government should strengthen the policy of guarantee system, the expansion of public voice, and pay more attention to the development of women. The kid garden should strengthen teacher management, and give them more humanistic concerns.Parents should put more efforts on kids’education, and share the education responsibility with schools. The female should present the positive attitude instead of negative attitude, and also should do more to improve self comprehensive quality. Through the effort from macro, meso, and micro multidimensional level, the social status and career identity of preschool teacher will be improved. And the situation of inequality in this career will be mend.This research is the first who analyze the unequal and occupational gender segregation using preschool career as a typical case. But for the limitation of research condition and the limit amount of interviewers, this paper may lack of representativeness, which is the drawback of this paper. And more, because of the limitation of my research ability, I couldn’t explore some areas that have the research value. All these provide the opportunity for the further study.
