| Twenty years ago, Mixed Martial Arts(MMA） appeared as a sports event, butnow it has become a famous sport in the world. However, it is different withforeign situation in our country, there aren’t too many people know the sport.According to the characteristics of the MMA, it is not only sports which canmake athletes become better, but also have a visual impact which is thereason people and promoter all like it. And, the sport has a great similarity withtraditional Chinese Martial Arts Challenge, which can help MMA rapidlyaccepted by Chinese. Therefore, for the Chinese fighting sector, to promotethe development of the MMA movement has a very important significance.The article first analysis the mixed martial connotation, technicalcharacteristics and advantages for development of MMA, then analysis ourcountry’s development of MMA and causes. After in-depth analysis by theMMA of the United States has been able to develop the Prosperity reasons，ultimately make appropriate recommendations for the developing of MMAfighting sports.
