Classroom teaching and learning is an interactive social activity. Teacher talkin class as the main medium of instruction discourse is also an important teaching tool,or even an established teaching content. English teacher own language quality and theclassroom words behavior practices very important to student’s language. Teacher’sclassroom teaching goals, intentions, contents of transmission, as well as the success ofteaching interaction is closely related to teachers’ discourse, and directly affects anddecides the teaching efficiency.In this study, based Urbanski’s Teaching Process Optimization Theory, Austin’sSpeech Act Theory and Psychological Language Interaction Theory represented byKrashen as the foundation, discusses changes under the background of the newcurriculum reform, how transforms and designs the teacher talk reasonably, causesteacher’s speech act to affect student’s language study effectively, plays the positiverole in the classroom instruction. And through the interaction enhances language inputintelligibility, urges student’s speech act to achieve the teacher predetermined teachinggoal, realizes the optimization teaching process. Transformation of teacher talk isbetter able to create the target language situation and language demonstration,emotional motivation, efficient classroom management, as well as the successfulinformation communication, to improve English classroom teaching efficiency, inorder to realize the requirements of the new curriculum standard proposed by twotransformation and promote the transformation of the mode of teachers’ teaching andstudents’ learning methods, promote the development of teachers and students.This study attempts to gather teacher talk corpus before and after the new highschool curriculum reform to analyze the existing problems of English classroomteaching discourse in classroom discourse situation and make the attribution analysis,through teachers and students questionnaires and classroom observation cases toexplore teacher talk features are truly suitable for students, can promote the development of students’ language skills. And further discusses the strategies abouthow to improve teacher talk, enhance the interactive teaching, raise the classroominstruction efficiency, achieve effective teaching behaviors, thus provides somereferences and suggestions for high school teachers in high school English teachingand the current English teaching reform.
