A Study On The Evolution And Influence Factors Of The Asian Men’s Basketball Pattern

With the popularization of the world basketball and development of the Asiancountries or regious basketballnin commercialization process, pattern of men’sbasketball in Asia gradually change. From1951the beginning of men’s basketball in theAsian Games to2011，the twenty-sixth World Championships of men’s basketball,Asian held a total of42Asian big basketball tournament. During this period, the changeof Asian Basketball happened to turn the world upside down. Based on the developmentand change of teams of Asian men’s basketball tradition as the main line, dividing theevolution process of Asian men’s basketball as follows: the Philippines men’s basketballteam tops, powers spring, East Asian men at peak, West Asia ’s rise and the East-Westmatch,which included five periods. Factors affecting the change pattern of Asianbasketball are many, including many aspects of politics, economy, culture and so on, butfundamentally speaking, the players’performance affects the result of the competition,resulting in the Asian Basketball pattern’s changes, revealing the fundamental reasonthat is the players of each team. This research focuses on the impact which influencesthe team of each countries to analyse factors leading to the evolution of AsianBasketball pattern. Through expert interview, and combining with the previous gamedata, I get the result that the influence mainly is on the occupation league itself、Naturalized player、 foreign coaches and talents trainings. Through the analysis of theabove several factors, in order to reveal the inherent law of Asian men’s basketballdevelopment. Through the tendency of the Asian men’s basketball, try to offer somereference on maintaining the excellent result in the Asian championship and AsianGames, and the improvement and development of China Men’s basketball athleticslevel.This paper gets the following conclusions through study:(1) the evolution process of Asian men’s basketball lies as follows: the Philippines men’s basketball team tops,powers spring, East Asian men at peak, West Asia ’s rise and the East-Westmatch,which included five periods. Each period has different characteristics;(2) fromthe team’s competence perspective, effect of the occupation league itself、naturalizedplayer、 foreign coaches and talents trainings are the main factors;(3) In order toconsolidate and improve the position of Chinese men’s basketball in the Asian\,Chinese men’s basketball team should have a correct understanding of their ownposition in Asia and the world basketball occupation, finding its own way suited to itsown domestic league; and improve the quality of national league, strengthen the trainingof young players on basic tactics and the basketball consciousness; give a proper viewon " naturalized player " about the influence on Chinese basketball development andreasonably introduce naturalized player; strengthen the team building, establishing thetraining and selecting system, and effectively improve the ability of local trainer’s leveland scientific management ability; pay attention to the cultivation to ensure China’sbasketball reserve talents.
