Switched singular system is a special class of hybrid dynamic systems. Compared withthe switched normal systems, each subsystem is a singular system, so the switched singularsystem is a class of a complex system which contains dual characteristics of switched systemand singular system, it needs to consider many aspects, and it is more difficult to study.In this paper, by using Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI)method, networked control, guaranteed cost control and robust fault-tolerant of the switchedsingular system are mainly studied.The main work of the paper contains the following several aspects:1. For a class of switched linear singular networked control system, we consider thestability of the system when there is no state jumping at switching time, and each subsystemis regular and no impulse. Using additive gain perturbation, and according to the robustcontrol theory and Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient condition of the system stable isgiven. At the same time, the state feedback controller which can make the system stable isobtained.2. Based on the models of switched singular networked control systems with time-delay,the problem of the guaranteed cost control is analyzed. Under the circumstances of the sensortime-driven, the controller and the actuator event-driven, and the networked induced delayless than one sampled period, according to common Lyapunov function, the sufficientcondition is given, which can make the switched singular networked control system satisfythe guaranteed cost control law under arbitrary switching laws. Moreover, by solving theLMIs, the state feedback controller can be got by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities,which can assure the closed loop system stable and satisfy the performance index.3. The problem of robust fault-tolerant control is studied for a class of nonlinearswitched singular systems with structural parameters uncertainties and time-delay. Based onconvex combination technique and LMI method, the state feedback controller is given. By thedesigned controller and the corresponding switching strategy, while some actuator failure, theclosed-loop systems are shown to be asymptotically stable for all admissible uncertainties.
