Fourteen twenty-eight04seconds in May12,2008, an8magnitude earthquake in Wenchuan suddenly happened on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau, the Longmen mountains. As results, triggered a large number of landslide.Slope landslide is due to various factors coupling deformation, eventually being certain predisposing factors to stimulate their instability, sliding a geological hazards. The main causes of landslide are rainfall, groundwater, human engineering activities and earthquakes. For the causes, the heavy rainfall, groundwater and earthquake are big three important factors of inducing landslide disaster. Rainfall is mainly through surface water into the groundwater to affect slope stability.Slope sliding and collapse induced by earthquake is one common of disasters. According to estimation, the number of landslide and collapse triggered by the5.12earthquake in Wenchuan is5million above. Bringing direct and indirect damage to the town and village is up to more than4000. Nowadays the biggest threat of rebuilding is from a large amount of loose solid material trapped in the mountains resulting from landslide induced by earthquake. The Sichuan Province where the landslide geology disasters are especially prominent experienced Wenchuan earthquake. A large amount of landslide seriously affects the safe production and reconstruction work after earthquake. Combined with the engineering example of slope after the earthquake to carry out slope stability evaluation and prediction research, will have directiy guiding significance for directiy servicing to the post-disaster reconstructionIn view of the above, the project conducted detailed researches and summary of information about Wenchuan earthquake geological hazards, focusing on the two’s after the earthquake Hanyuan County mountain high slope engineering, through field research, using experimental, numerical simulation and other means to carry out post-earthquake high side slope stability analysis and prediction. Concrete research work and contents are as follows:Through the literature collection and collation, I summed up Wenchuan earthquake geological hazards of the general situation and main types of seismic landslide;through field survey and the summary of literature information, we analysed the relationship between development and distribution about the seismic landslide, collapse and topography, geological tectonic; The instability and failure of the slope and rainfall are closely related, especially the storm is one of the important factors to stimulate the slope instability; For the county two pretty mountain rainfall landslide geotechnical material, through the laboratory experiment, we studied rainfall infiltration’s influence on slope geotechnical material mechanical parameters of earthquake, and established the functional relationship among the soil strength parameters of cohesion, friction angle and moisture content, to prepare the basic data for safety evaluation of slope under rainfall condition;Earthquake and rainfall are two natural predisposing factor of landslide. But the two mechanisms for the formation are completely different;By using finite difference software FLAC, we conducted analysis and prediction about the county two pretty mountain landslide stability. The results are as follows: influence the earthquake have on slope stability mainly performed the cumulative effect and the triggering effect two aspects, The two root reasons for slope instability are seismic inertial force and earthquake generated excess pore water pressure. The slope during rainfall, earthquakes and other causes, and have the possible of further sliding.
