With the rapid development of science and technology, and the mushroom growth of automated logistics, automatic warehouse (AS/RS) plays an important role in automatic production field as a representative of morden logistics. It has many advantages like:saving space; avoiding errors; reducing labor intensity; cutting down storage and transportation loss; making capital flow; increasing the efficiency of distribution and so on. In the area of tobacco industry with a higher degree of automation, automatic warehouse has been widely used and acquired remarkable effect. It have largely reduced tobacco logistics cost, improved the efficiency of distribution, so it have important value of economic and scientific research to study automatic warehouse system of tobacco factory.This paper commits itself to provide a new mentality of planning and design of cigarette factory product warehouse system using relevant queuing theory combined with Flexsim simulation tool. So as to work out more reasonable、smoother and more advanced logistic system. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, this paper put forward the research background and significance, outlined the development of tobacco logistics, introduced the concept of automated warehouse. And it articulates the research status、function、characteristics、constitution and classification of automated warehouse.Secondly, based on the project of D cigarette factory product warehouse system, make a scrutiny into relevant product warehouse system combined with some design methods. So as to work out the initial scheme.Thirdly, this paper introduced the concept of queuing theory, respectively build the M/M/n queuing models of Palletizing warehousing system、FG stocking system、 Finished product delivery system、unstacking outbound system. And analyse these models detailedly、Put forward the improvement scheme、get a better scheme finally. In the last, this paper establishes the simulation model by using simulation software Flexsim, At the same time checks the queuing theory model, and find out the final scheme.By the research and analysis in this paper, it summarizes the basic thinking in the planning programming of the automatic warehouse system, expecially it combines the using of queuing theory and simulation, so as to provides a new method in the planning programming and Evaluation the situation of the automatic warehouse logistic system. It has very importment practical value and Research Value to the planning and programming of cigarette factory.
