The emergence of the word “technoscience” arises heated discussions amongpeople, because it accords with the strait of rapid development and reflects theinseparableness between science and technology. But in Latour’s perspective, theextent of technoscience is much wider. Because it includes all the factors that arerelated to the formation of science, on the basis of which forms Latour’stechnoscientific perspective.Making a specialized study on Latour’s technoscientific perspective isbeneficial to give the readers a new understanding of the contemporary science, thatis science is a both-and course, in which science, technology, human, society andnature play an important role. Clarifying the forming process of his idea is the firststep. The accomplishment of Latour’s technoscientific perspective experiences twostages, which are the defender of the “strong programme” and the holder oftechnoscientific perspective. In the progress, Latour absorbs several great scholars’ideas, such as Dewey, Tarde and Greimas. The second step is making an importantexploration on the connotation of Latour’s technoscientific perspective. Hecreatively finishes the job of observing and recording the laboratory life by usinganthropology method, technologizing the scientific texts, connecting the laboratoryand its external, which puts the science in a context of “relationism”, which aims toreplacing scientific internal functional system with external factors’ function, leadingthe SSK’s study perspective to technology and weakening the human centralism.Relocating the roles of many different factors that compose the science is the thirdstep, whose purpose is to discover the time’s features and reconstruct therelationships between them. Science, technology, human, society and nature areincluded in this job. Finally, making a philosophical reflection on Latour’stechnoscientific perspective. Its rationalities lie in formation and development, andits limitations lie in it is easy to lead to the agnosticism and relativism of the truth.
