Geological Investigation And Prospecting On Nanhuofang Area Of Liangcheng County, Inner Mongolia

Nanhuofang area in Liangcheng county, Inner Mongolia is located at the easternsection of Yinshan. Tectonically, it is situated in the third-level tectonic element NorthChina platform Inner Mongolia Tailong Yinshan fault uplift. Fault systems, occurringwithin the Archean strata and intrusions, are widely developed since multiple tectonicmovements happened during geological history. Based on the collecting, reorganizition andanalysising of previous data, through field investigation and the comprehensive study ofindoor work and the modern theory of mineralization and prospecting techniques methods,geological anomaly ore theory as a guide, using comprehensive analysis, this article studiesdetailedly the geological conditions of mineralization, geophysical and geochemicalcharacteristics, controling geologic factors and prospecting information of Nanhuofanggold as well as discussing rock and ore forming rules. On this basis, this article summersup the mineralization and enrichment rules. In addition, it evaluates the prospect ofprospecting in the Nanhuofang area briefly.A comprehensive analysis and reorganization have been made according to data of1:50000dispersion halo, especially on1:25000soil geochemical data. Through thegeomathematical analysis on1:25000soil geochemical data of Nanhuofang area, The factthat the Nanhuofang anomaly area is mainly charatered by Au, accompanied by As, Cu, Ag,and other multi-element composite anomaly. Various elements have certain relevances.Based on1:10000geologic mapping work in Nanhuofang area, it had been discovered thatNanhuofang area is tectonicly intense fracture zone. A number of fractured limonite-quartzveins have been seen in common, indicating that the area is hopeful for gold mineralizationprospect. Finally, through ore-controlling factors and the prospecting symbol analysis ithad been pointed out that prospecting’s important region of Nanhuofang area should be theanomaly enrichment center region which extended along NEE and alteration broken belt inthe south-east, and the central and western regions where fractured limonite-quartz veinsare distributed.
