From April2012to January2013,an investigation on the resources of the bethic marine algaon the three coastal water of Changxing island harbor industrial zone (Changxing Island、Xizhong Island and Jiaoliu Island),Dalian was made. There were453herbarium.80specieswere found along the Changxing island harbor industrial zone,including47species ofRhodophyta,18species of Phaeophyta,16species of Chlorophyta.The seasonal variation of alga species composition and biomass were all more remarkable. Infour seasons, the abundance of alga species composition and biomass from more to less weresummer>spring>autumn>winter. The abundantest of biomass occurring in summer wasChlorophyta, and the abundantest of species composition was Rhodophyta. There was nosignificant change in the species composition of Rhodophyta and Chlorophyta occurring insummer and spring. The biomass of Phaeophyta in winter was on the rise.Change of distribution of algae: The diversity of horizontal distribution depend on the habitat,The abundance of alga species composition in lithoherm and boulder beach was more than theothers,and the abundance of alga species composition and biomass in sandbeach was the least;The diversity of vertical distribution was distinct,the stability was more higher in low-tidalzone, and the seasonal variation of alga species composition and biomass were allunconspicuous,but in hight-tidal zone,the seasonal variation was more conspicuous, thespecies composition and biomass were least in the hight-tidal and in the mid-tidal zoneoccurring in summer were most; In different tidal zones, the representative of dominantspecies were diverse, the hight-tidal were Chlorophyta, the mid-tidal zone were Rhodophytaand the low-tidal zone were Rhodophyta and few Phaeophyta.For the bethic marine alga in Changxing island harbor industrial zone statistical results show,there were44species of warm temperate marine alga, was account for55%;14species ofcold temperate marine alga, was account for17%;13species of subtropical marine alga, wasaccount for15%;4species of subfrigid marine alga, was account for5%. Based on theanalysis of the bethic marine alga in Changxing island harbor industrial zone distribution,themain temperature character species which occurring in Changxing island harbor industrialzone is warm water. Combined with the division of geography and biology, It belongs to thealga flora in west Huanghai.
