Wuchuan-Zhengan-Daozhen bauxite deposits, located in the NNE Fenggang tectonic deformation zone in Zhunyi anteclise Northern Guizhou platform, Yangtze paraplatform are the most important mineral deposits in north Guizhou. By combining ore-controlling factors and characteristic of Alumina-bearing rock series through the research on chalcography and geochemistry, this article expound the ore-forming material source, the genesis of mineral deposit and metallogenic regularity, further establishing indicator for deposit. Research results are as follows:1. The layered ore bodies are mainly located in the upper part of Liangshan Group of middle Permian. The ore texture is complex, including grain mud-crystal texture, mud-crystal grain texture, mud-crystal texture et al; the ore structure with less massive structure is mainly earthy, semi-earthy, clastic and oolitic. Ore quality of the earthy and the semi-earthy is best while the massive ore is worst.2. Geochemical research suggests that monohydrallite deposit has a notable affinity with shale in Hanjiadian Group but not much with limestone in Huanlong Group, future indicating ores were formed in the continental environment.3. Stratum defines the metallogenic time to the Liangshan stage of the Middle Permian; Geological structure limits the distribution of ore body along periphery of syncline; paleogeography suggests the coastal shallow-lake is favorable metallogenic environment.4. The bauxite deposits belong to ancient weathering crusts sedimentary type. Shale in Hanjiadian Group were uplifted to the surface during sedimentary hiatus, then suffered weathering becoming Al-rich clastics. These clastics were moved by to the coastal shallow-lake basin by surface runoff and sedimented to form ore which has been enriched latter by leaching of meteoric waters and underground water.5. Metallogenic regularity includes two aspects:in the time aspects, it formed during Liangshan stage of the middle Permian; in the space aspects, it had a strong affinity to stratum, structure and paleogeography.
