Dissection And Petroleum Resources Calculation Of Calibrated Units Of Ordovician In Tabei Uplift, Tarim Basin

Tabei Uplift is a Paleozoic uplift between Northern Depression and Kuche Depressionwith the highest degree of exploration and geological understanding in Tarim Basin. Inrecent years, with the deepening exploration and research of the Tabei Uplift carbonaterock oil and gas gradually, resource potential of Ordovician carbonate oil and gas greatlyexceeded previous knowledge, and is becoming the focus and hot of recent explorationstudy.Based on the geological background, structural characteristics, and stratigraphicdevelopment of the Tabei uplift, combined with the present exploration and developmentsituation of the Tarim Oilfield, in this paper the author selected Lunnan area which was inhigh degree of exploration, high degree of geological understanding and high proven rateof oil and gas resource as the calibrated units. With the regional geology and drilling data,seismic data and geochemical data, the author establishes the hydrocarbon accumulationconditions and summaries hydrocarbon accumulation rule of the calibrated units andwhich was taken as a reference for optimizing4kinds of resources calculation methods ofthe calibrated units. Eventually the dissection results table for the Ordovician carbonaterocks calibrated units was established in Tabei Uplift.Following the principle of benefiting the play evaluation and resources calculation,based on the tectonic division and trap scale, Tabei uplift was divided into11zones inOrdovician in this paper with part of drilling data taken in consideration. The amount ofresources of Tabei Uplift in Ordovician is calculated by statistics of geological parameters,geological evaluation, scoring and resource calculation for every independent play. Thereare oil resources of406236.5421×104t, natural gas of10207.3464×108m3, oil and gasequivalent of4.98×108t in Tabei uplift. It indicates that the Ordovician carbonate rocksarea of Tabei Uplift is an oil and gas rich layer series of super large.
