Using electricity for tobacco primary process workshop and automaticintegration of tobacco factory as its platform, this design divides the whole tobaccoprimary process workshop into three layers, namely, equipment control layer, centralized monitoring layer and production management layer based on the principleof centralized management, integrated monitoring and subdivision control; and it alsoselects appropriate software, network protocol and software respectively for everylayer depending on different objects involved in every layer.SIEMENS S7-4152DP is working as main controller for equipment controllayer and connects technological parameters such as on-site temperature, pressure, moisture and rate of flow with every related PLC via Profibus-Dp to guarantee normaloperation of equipment; HMI and LED also be set at the key position of the workshopto visually show related state.Monitoring can combine every on-site PLC, on-siteoperator’s terminal, I/O server and engineer station together. production managementlayer will makes gathering and disposal on every subtask to realize the data uploadand systematic management for job task, process data, equipment fault, productionstate and technological management of workshop production. After the implementation of this design, the requirement of tobacco industry onimproving quality, reducing consumption, improving peculiar smell and integration ofmanagement and control can be achieved. It can establish a more perfect productionmanagement system of workshop, which regards the management for maininformation of workshop as the core, when it perfects the accuracy, reliability andusability for control system of underlying equipment.
