Red mud is the residue of the aluminium-ore in floatation process. The red mud ismuch abundant of iron and alminum. At the same time it’s so disposed in open area thatmay cause serious contamination. In this case, the comprehensive utilization of red mudwill not only eliminate the pollution caused by it, but also save the natural resources. Interms of the meaning, the comprehensive utilization of red mud is very important for thesociety.The purpose of this paper is to explore dynamic equation of the acid-leaching reactionof red mud and the way obtained from the acid leaching solution, The studying of thefundamental theory of PAFC may give experimental data and theoretical support for PAFCindustry.Firstly through using titration, we can analysize the contents of Fe and Al as the timegoes in the process of acid leaching, most iron and alminum in the red mud has beenleached, almost all the Al is preserved in red mud is in the form of r-AlO(OH), almost allthe Fe is preserved in red mud is in the form of hematite. According to orthogonal test, itshows the factors which effect the leaching reaction, from the strong to weak order areamount of hydrochloric acid, particle size, temperature, reaction time. The specific surfacearea of red mud and leached red mud particles were0.234,0.461(m2/g).The dynamicequation shows the reaction is complicated, and it belongs to unreacted shrinking coremodel of uncatalytic systems of liquid-solid phase. In high temperature, the reaction iscontrolled by detention membrane, but in low temperature relatively, it is controlled bychemical reaction. Eventually, PAFC is successfully synthesized, and The PAFC conformsto national standard. and through budget, we can get profit,1529yuan/t.Through the processing of laboratory simulation wastewater, we can get optimalconditions of flocculating agent for wastewater treatment. dosing quantity:80mg/L, the pHvalue:6.0, speed of flocculation:70r/min, the T value:50℃, Time of flocculation:15min,settling time:30min.
