Flow Field Simulation And Structure Studies Of Rotary Disc Filter

Rotary disc filter is introduced from the overseas, which is widely used in sewage treatment process. At present, there are some domestic companies bring out their own rotary disc filter on the basis of independent research. But, it is hardly to found any systematic research on rotary disc filter. In order to solve this problem, systematic research was taken in this article. It has great significance for the localization and standardization of rotary disc filter.The main contents are as following:(1) Structure designed the rotary disc filter with the mapping software. Which have six discs, the disc outer/inner diameter are2200mm/970mm. Give part drawing of its internal core section. After that, format the product’s series.(2) Using the analysis software FLUENT to study the flow field distribution of2200mm diameter rotary disc filter. Propose a structure of V type disc on the basis of traditional U type. Then do contrastive analysis of both types, study the influence of filtration velocity and porous parameter of filtration medium on distribution of the flow field. Finally, study the3D flow field distribution of U type rotary disc filter with4and8discs. (3) Do research on the structure of rotary disc filter. Then get the following conclusion:The structure,when the value of r and b of U type disc changes in the range of0.57-0.62m and0.04-0.06m, while the r value of V type disc changes in the range of0.62-0.66m, at the same time,the b value is changes in the range of0.02m-0.03m when c is constant, the c value is changes in the range of0.02-0.06m when c is change, is recommend; After that, analysis the support device and get the conclusion that the support device with14supports is better; Finally, analyses the back wash water distributor and get the optimize structure.(4) Establish partial experiment device, contrastive analysis the experim-ental results and the numerical simulation results, which appeared to be good consistency.
