Aiming at the reliability and security of new annular hammer crusher’s design parameters, some formula are obtained by mechanical analysis and calculation for the pckw0809annular hammer crushers parameters using collision theory. The work effectiveness of crusher has been verified through dynamics simulation analysis, at the same time, the ring hammer collisions crushing force curve is also drawn, all this can lay the foundation for the crusher stress strain analysis.Stress and deformation of key components are gotten by the force analysis when crusher is in the ultimate position, and the security risks are also excluded. In addition, through the finite element modal analysis on the crusher casing, the natural frequencies and mode shapes are gotten, which can effectively avoid the harm due to vibration. We can know that the motor excitation frequency should away from the operating frequency in the actual production by the harmonic response analysis of the motor-base system. At the same time, this also provides a reference for the reasonable motor choice.Finally, the crusher is optimized and designed using topology optimization methods, and achieve the purposes that the casing weight reduction, while satisfying the casing strength requirements. These have an important guiding significance for the engineering practice.
