Mine ventilation system is the important part of mine production system, whichprovides the guarantee of production safety. The quality of mine ventilation system hasthe great influence on the safety of life and property of the workers. The reasonablesystem can improve the ability for resisting and preventing mining disasters. Therefore,it is very urgent to analyze and evaluate the reliability of mine ventilation system.Mine ventilation system is complex instable open and dynamic system. With thesummary analysis on research findings of the precious work by other research, thereliability analysis model is established to analyze all the relevant factors in detail basedon the characteristics of mine ventilation system. The reliability evaluation indexsystem of metal mine ventilation system is established based on the reliability analysisof mine ventilation system. The reliability of metal mine ventilation system is defined tobe the objective tier, the rule tier includes five aspects which are ventilation systemenvironment, ventilation facilities, ventilation safety management, ventilation disasterrelief system and the quality of workers. The indicators tier is subdivided into24indicators. The weight distribution of index system is confirmed and a evaluation ofmine ventilation system is made based on AHP and fuzzy comprehension evaluation.The program of the reliability evaluation of mine ventilation system is written based onVisual Basic. The evaluation method is applied to Jubankeng Tungsten ventilationsystem at last, the reliability of Jubankeng Tungsten ventilation system is medium.The objective results of ventilation system can be obtained by the evaluation ofmine ventilation system based on AHP and fuzzy comprehension evaluation, which canprovide technical assistance to improve ventilation system. The research on thereliability evaluation of mine ventilation system will promote scientific management ofmine ventilation, provide basis of making decisions by mine manager. The active effecton production safety of mine ventilation will be brought by the research.
