Compared with traditional printing, digital printing technology not only can accelerated the speed of printing proofing but also greatly reduces the proofing cost; can meet the needs of customers of small batch and fast reaction; the production of high-grade, personalized printing products have unique advantages, broad market prospects. But for traditional printing, its color is easy to adjust, because it is spot color printing, that is, each set of color need tinting alone, through the computer’s color matching system,it can achieve high color accuracy, even if a paste not allow, it only affects a set of colors.On the contrary, in the digital printing, to reproduce color, firstly, pick out the color CMYK percentage value from the color card, then input computer through spray printing onto pre-treatment fabric, after drying for steaming, washing, drying and other post-processing procedure, so the color reproduction is influenced by many factors. And the color reproduction has been a giant problem for many digital printing enterprises and hinders the further development. So, this topic proposed an innovative method of color difference evaluation for the purpose of color reduction, this new method is applied to the actual process of factor analysis which uses control variate method to analyze the various factors in the digital printing process to get the parameters of the best conditions of use. It not only provides a scientific basis of color evaluation for the enterprise and customer, but also promotes the digital printing industry to speed up the self-improvement, and seek greater development space.Firstly, we will build a new color difference evaluation method based on digital printing. Currently, customers and operators evaluate most of the color by personal feelings and experience, which is subjective and seems not scientific enough. Therefore, according to the actual need, we need to develop a common standard print to printing, measurement, comparison, and the final evaluation. Experimental results show that this figure covers a wide range of color gamut and uniform color space. It can represent for the digital printing industry and be used as a general graph for measurements and evaluations. In order to make the new evaluation method to be effectively applied, reducing the unnecessary errors caused of test, based on this design ideas we research and development special judge color measurement software ColorMeasure which have many functions such as generating an image、measurement、analysis and comparison of features.Then, we will use the new method, in different time, to print samples on the same printer. As a result, the printer performance is unstable. The results of the same graph using different fabrics, ink to print out are not the same, It is easy to find whether color is light in the measurement results, and the brightness, saturation, hue color component of the difference of the three elements can also be displayed. In conclusion, we can easily analyze and evaluate color by this way.Finally, this new method is applied to the actual process of factor analysis which uses control variate method to analyze the various factors in the digital printing process, such as steaming, washing, to get the parameters of the best conditions of use.This dissertation research provides a new set of digital printing color difference evaluation method for enterprise and customers to provide a scientific basis; using this method after analyzing treatment process impact factors, would obtain the best parameters and conditions for digital printing color reproduction.And the results show that the existing process conditions are optimal. It will build the foundation for the future study of digital printing’s color management.
