Since reforming and opening, along with the accelerating of urbanization, the socialeconomy developed rapidly in China, many environmental problems that have occurredduring more than a century in developed Europe and America countries broke out in nearlythree decades in China, the regional environmental pressure is unprecedented, especially thewater pollution is most serious, and it has become a key factor which restricts the economicsustainable development of our country, in order to solve the contradiction of water pollutionand economic development in high economic density regional in Pearl River Delta and realizethe harmonious development of environment and economy, this paper aimed at the waterpollution problems in Huiyang section of Danshui River basin which is the upper reaches ofthe Dongjiang River to investigate the water pollution status of each region in the basin, thewater environment comprehensive renovated measures in this basin is studied, with a view toprovide reference and experience for the similar areas to solve the similar problems. Theresults are as follws:(1)Based on the investigation and data collection, the status of water quality of Huiyangsection of Danshui River Basin during2009-2011is analyzed, The result showed that thewater in Huiyang section of Danshui River basin is basically in the state of heavy polluted,the main pollutants which is exceed the standard is ammonia nitrogen, CODCr, anionicsurfactants and total phosphorus. To analyze from mornitoring sections find that water qualityof the water in upstream of Danshui River is more poor and improved gradually along theriver, such as the water inpollution composite index in the joint of Huiyang and Longgang hasreached1.7and average vaule of1.3, but to the City Water plant, it hs dropped to1.0. Thisphenomenon illustrated that the upstream water has become a significant source of pollution,it has important significance to strengthen the water environment renovation in the upperreaches for improving the water environment in the whole basin. Meanwhile, the waterenvironment is gradually improved showed that the renovated measures have achieved initialeffect in recent years, but the overall situation is still can’t optimistic.(2)According to the present situation of water pollution in Danshui River basin, a seriesmeansures and implementation details are studied, including sewage pipe net engineering,urban sewage treatment engineering, tail water reuse and replenishment projec, ruraldecentralized sewage treatment engineering, dredging engineering and solid waste cleaningengineering, river ecological restoration and surface source control project. With the help ofthese measures, the systematic renovation pattern that to renovate at the last, to reduce duringthe discharge and contral the pollution source is expected to establish. (3)According to the current situation of the industry in Huiyang section of Danshui Riverbasin, and combined with the strategic goals of the regional ecological industrial development,the study puts forward to develop the new leading industries such as electronic informationand the fine chemical, and upgrade traditional industries such as metal manufacturing andjewelry manufacturing, with the help of these optimization layout, to implement circulareconomy in the regional. Together with the effective of management measures, theimplementation of pollutant emission control meansures from the pollution source can beensured, and then to reduce the risk of water environmental pollution because ofindustrialization and urbanization on.(4)Aimed at Xinxu Town where water environmental problems are most prominent inDanshui River basin, using comprehensive measures to renovate the water environment inthis area. Pumped the polluted water from Dingshan River, Tunzi River and Huangsha Riverinto the bypass water treatment system which is constituted with biochemical and artificialwetland treatment process. At the same time, using anaerobic hydrolysis and biofilter processto treat the dispersed domestic sewage in rural town area to control the pollutant emissionseffectively. At last, together with the efforts of industrial upgrading and effective managementmeasures implementing in the regional, the water quality of the three rivers reached thedemand.
