General emphasis on sustainable development in the world today, sewage treatmentalso puts forward the idea of sustainable development and process. The urban wastewatershortcut nitrification research has accumulated rich experience, and puts forward somelow-power efficient biological treatment process. Conditions of high ammonia efficientshortcut nitrification and optimization of anaerobic ammonia oxidation simple and efficientfull autotrophic the fossil assemblages denitrification process. The process has broadapplication prospects, so by the extensive attention from researchers, but there are stillmany problems need to be studied. Such as: How to maintain long-term stability of thesystem; shortcut nitrification process up and running under high load. This paper aiming at the characteristics of high ammonia wastewater, under thecondition of high ammonia, transformation mainly by means of high ammonia low oxygen, shortcut nitrification process for high ammonia wastewater nitrifying bacteria domesticationand accumulation in central Asia. In this paper, two different height to diameter ratio ofSBR reactor (3:1and7.5:1, respectively) to be used to study high ammonia wastewater andshortcut nitrification start process start process features. The main results were as follows:(1) The reactor inoculated with the conventional activated sludge, and control thereactor temperature of28to31℃, the influent pH of7.8to8.2. In SBR (A) reactor of3:1ratio of height to diameter, after29days of acclimation, ammonia removal rate and nitriteaccumulation rate achieve90%, the successful implementation nitrification.(2) Consistent with SBR(A) operation conditions case,SBR (B) reactor (high diameterratio of7.5:1) after11d ammonia removal efficiency reached90%, and the nitrate nitrogen removal rate is more than50%, says the reactor has been successfully realized the shortcutnitrification;11d~78d as the load increase period, the sludge removal of ammonianitrogen load also gradually improve, starting from the reaction of0.023kg/(kg· d)gradually increase to0.3kg/(kg·d), the water ammonia nitrogen concentration of704mg/l,the ammonia nitrogen removing sludge load up to0.34kg/(kg· d). Compared with SBR (A),load increase quickly.Because the big high diameter reactor has the high oxygen utilization, and the high washing effect on bacteria.(3) Study on the influence of different pH (6.5,7.0,7.5,8.0and8.5) on shortcutnitrification process. Results show that as the pH increases gradually, ammonia nitrogenremoval rate also increased, in turn, respectively52.02%,60.98%,78.79%,87.29%and78.79%. When the pH in the range7.0to8.5, nitrite accumulation rate is high, the valueskeep in the range85%to90%.(4) Study on the influence of different influent ammonia concentration on shortcutnitrification process. Results show that the short time to improve the water ammonianitrogen concentration can make the ammonia nitrogen degradation rate and the nitratenitrogen degradation rate decreased, but after a period of acclimatization, ammonia nitrogendegradation rate and the nitrate nitrogen degradation rate can be improved. But if beyondthe scope of the reactor can accommodate, after a period of acclimatization, ammonianitrogen degradation is still incomplete.(5) Study on the influence of different aeration(16L/h、24L/h、32L/h and40L/h) onshortcut nitrification process. The results show that with the increase of aeration, ammoniaremoval rate gradually increased (respectively,39.9%,61.9%,99.3%and100%); and thenitrate nitrogen accumulation rate fluctuated between85%and94%, which showed that thesystem is in the start-up phase of the successful implementation of the inhibition of nitritebacteria.
