The basin-type insulator is an important part in high voltage switch equipment, we haveresearched expoxy injection mould stripping machine of basin-type insulator in this paper. Wehave come up with a design scheme of pneumatic automatic stripping machine basing on PLCafter full on the basis of studied and detailed analysis, and the redesign stripping machine withthe advantages of high automation, operation easily, low cost, environmental protection,convenient repair and maintenance and so on can complete automatically demould action byitself. The main contents of this paper are as follows.First of all, we have derived the computing formula for calculation of initial ejectionforce in basin type insulator epoxy injection mould according to the mechanical analysis andcalculated it the initial ejection force, which provides an important desigh parameter fordesigning the systerm of control and driving.Secondly, we have analysed and given the woking step’s logical relation of automaticstripper machine and finished structural design and pneumatic control circuits design.we alsohave analysed and choosed Rodless cylinder, Pneumatic motor, Linear motion guide, Lineardisplacement sensor, Proximity switch, Photoelectric switch and Pressure sensor and so on.In addition, we have proposed design of pneumatic control systerm basing on PLC, andselected PLC controller and distributed the I/O point, and designed the control systerm soft;We also have studied on the pneumatic proportional position control systerm of pull and pushmould and established it mathematical model and finished stability analysis; Lastly, the PIDcontroller was designed through we have adopted the method of Ziegler—Nichols, therefore,the pull and push mould control systerm has been revised.At the end of this article, we have used touch screen simulating test environment andfinished the simulation experiment in the laboratory for the control systerm architecture, softand hardware designing. The experiment results show that the control systerm of automaticstripping machine can complete control tasks very well in the working environment, whichcan achieves the design goals.
