City Logistics Industry Carbon Emissions Measurement And Influencing Factors Analysis

Along with the development of economy, energy consumption increased year byyear, the environmental pollution is more and more serious. Industrial carbon emissionsare the highest, the logistics industry’s carbon emissions are in the second place, theconsumption of energy is given priority to with high carbon energy sources such as oil.Low carbon logistics are mentioned by more and more countries. The carbon emissionsof the logistics industry has great realistic significance and theoretical significance.Tianjin is one of the national low-carbon urban pilot, so taking Tianjin city as anexample to study urban carbon emissions of the logistics industry. To effectively reduceTianjin logistics industry’s carbon emissions, it is very important to find the influencefactors of carbon emissions.Firstly in this paper, the logistics industry in Tianjin in1995-2010carbon emissionsfor each year is calculated, and the measured results were analyzed. Then using LMDIfactor decomposition method to decompose carbon emissions factors. Influence factorscan be divided into carbon factor effect, energy structure effect and energy intensityeffect, industrial structure effect and economies of scale effect. And find the maininfluence factors that increase carbon emissions and suppress the carbon emissions ofTianjin logistics industry. Finally，we get the result that economic scale effect is the mostimportant factor which promotes the increasing of carbon emissions, energy intensityeffect restrains carbon emissions effectively.Finally, according to the decomposition results based on Tianjin logistics industrycarbon emissions and combining with the actual situation of Tianjin, from the view thathow to control the carbon emissions effectively and how to better play a role of inhibitingfactors, put forward some strategies to reduce carbon emissions of Tianjin logisticsindustry. And propose the guarantee measures from the government level.
